Hydrostatic Testing Services
Hydrostatic pressure testing is a useful tool to quality control pressure ratings or test “proof of design”. We hydrotest at our facility and can, for some projects, test at a customer facility using calibrated pressure gauges and ASME code procedures.
We are capable of pressure testing pipe, tubes, coils, pressure vessels, reactors, autoclaves, columns, or any device or fitting rated for pressure. We can hydrotest to 150,000 psig with distilled water, water soluble oil, or other fluids.
For special designed fittings or pressure vessels, we can custom design a closure or adapter for hydrotesting. With our engineering expertise and years of custom pressure vessel design experience, we can help redesign pressure equipment to reduce cost and improve the design or reliability.

Helium Leak Test
We can gas test pressure vessels and fixtures or fittings to pressure as high as 60,000 psig. Helium leak rate tests are used to evaluate seals and closures. For specialty items, Fluitron can also perform mass spectrometer leak testing on vessels or fittings.
Burst Testing
Burst testing is an excellent method to detect design flaws. By burst testing we can push a pressure vessel, pressure device, or fitting to failure. This can determine the mode of failure and provide practical feedback on weak points in a design.
Isostatic Testing
We have vessels rated to 1000,000 psig, which are used to apply external pressure to a part or object. This is particularly useful for testing parts exposed to extremely high pressure such as in deep-sea applications.
