Overview
Fluitron’s range of standard and custom engineered diaphragm compressors have been used for sensitive, precision gas applications at high pressure by hundreds of satisfied customers for almost 50 years.
Delivering a variety of benefits to customers, they are well suited to a diverse range of applications, and can be used with all types of specialty, atmospheric and flammable gases, including hydrogen.

Benefits
Leak Free – Unlike other reciprocating compressors which use dynamic seals, our diaphragm compressors use static seals which prevent leakage during normal operations.
Automatic Leak Detection – Should a diaphragm rupture or a seal fail, our diaphragm compressors will automatically detect the leak and engage a control system as specified. In the event of a failure, the failure is indicated, with leakage to atmosphere or contamination of the process gas minimized.
Contamination Free – Fluitron’s compressors do not use lubricants or coolants in the process gas stream. This eliminates the possibility of contamination of the process gas with any liquid, meaning the gas leaving the compressor is as pure as the gas entering the compressor.
High Compression Ratio – Our compressor units can achieve more than 30,000 psi working pressure, far beyond the capability of most other oil free or non-lubricated compressors.

Projects
Vehicle Refueling Dispenser Revitalization
Fluitron successfully revitalized a hydrogen dispensing system for a large hydrogen-electric vehicle manufacturer. The project involved bringing a hydrogen dispensing unit, which had been idle for over five years, back into operation. To do so, we carried out a comprehensive system assessment, refurbishment, modernization, and on-site commissioning, over a period of several months.
The project utilized Fluitron’s expertise in delivering turnkey aftermarket service solutions for complex OEM equipment challenges.
Hydrogen (H₂) Filling System for Bus Fleet
Fluitron designed, supplied, and installed a state-of-the-art hydrogen (H₂) filling system for two hydrogen powered buses. The system was designed and engineered to deliver 30kg of hydrogen per bus in a back-to-back filling process, ensuring minimal downtime and maximum operational efficiency for the operator.
The project included the integration of Fluitron’s proprietary technologies – like our in-house-developed hydrogen dispenser and an advanced hydrogen inventory management system – to enhance reliability and control.
Hydrogen Filling System for Fuel Cell Buses
This project focused on upgrading the hydrogen refueling infrastructure at an R&D center in Faridabad, India, to support the deployment of 15 Fuel Cell (FC) buses.
Fluitron designed, installed, and commissioned a state-of-the-art Hydrogen (H2) dispenser capable of filling both light-duty and heavy-duty vehicles at 350bar. With a focus on advanced technology and scalability, the project also introduced hydrogen pre-cooling to India and incorporated hardware for future 700-bar fueling.
